Plasmids and plasmid vectors |
abstract |
Novel plasmid vectors have been prepared and transformed into suitable hosts from which they can be retrieved and then used as cloning vehicles. The plasmids are named pUC1072, pUC1075, pUC1078, pUC1079 and pUC1080. Advantageously, these plasmids are shuttle vectors which can be used to clone genes in E. coli and Streptomyces. |
