abstract |
A chewing gum composition having improved film-forming, flavour release and chew characteristics is disclosed: it comprises a gum base, a flavouring agent and a sweetening agent. From 4% to 30% by weight of the gum base is a filler consisting of or including anhydrous dicalcium phosphate. The gum base itself constitutes another aspect of the invention. |
