@ A fluid-cooled member, one form of which is a turbomachinery blading member, is provided by a method which first disposes a sacrificial material on a surface or in a surface of a first member. A cover material is applied over the sacrificial material and over at least that portion of the surface of the first member adjacent the sacrificial material, after which the sacrificial material is removed to provide at least a portion of the fluid passage. One form of the invention provides for stacked passages within the member. |
