titleOfInvention | Derivatives of n,n-bis(2-chloroethyl)-phosphoric acid amide |
abstract | Derivatives of N,N-bis-(2-chloroethyl)-phosphoric acid amide having the general formula (I), wherein the symbols X and Y, being identical or different, represent oxigen or a NR3 group, and wherein the symbols R1 and R2 have a different or identical meaning, the symbol R1 representing CH2(OR4)-CH2-CH2-, CH2(OR4)-CH(CH3)-CH2- or CH2(OR4)-CH(OR5)-CH2-rest, the symbol R1 representing also hydrogen when the symbol X represents a group NR3 and the symbol R2 of the formula designates one of the meanings of the symbol R1 or one of the rests ethyl, propyl, allyl, propenyl, chlorethyl, methyl or benzyl, the preceding symbol R3 representing hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, propyl or allyl and the preceding symbols R4 and R5, having an identical or different meaning, designate and alkyl rest R or an acyl rest -COR, wherein R represents a saturated or unsaturated straight or branched chain alkyl group with 1 to 25 atoms of carbon or an aralkyl group with 1 to 25 atoms of carbon in the alkyl portion, and one of the rests representing as well a hydrogen atom. The invention also relates to methods for the preparation of such compounds. The compounds of the invention have a particularly efficient antitumoral activity comparable to the known activity of cyclophosphamide compounds. |
