abstract The invention relates to neutralizing monoclonal antibodies against peptide structures of the poliovirus responsible for the induction of poliomyelitis immunity as well as the corresponding secretory hybridomas. These are formed by fusion of spleen cells from an animal previously immunized against the poliovirus corresponding to ā€œCā€ antigenicity and of appropriate myeloma cells, then by selection of those of the hybridomas secreting antibodies active both against the polioviruses. "C" and "D" antigenicity and against the VP1 structural peptide.
