titleOfInvention | DEVICE FOR REMOVING DUST, HAIR OR OTHER DROPPED PARTICLES FROM OBJECTS SUCH AS CLOTHING, TEXTILE MATERIALS, FURNITURE OR THE LIKE. |
abstract | The device for removing dust, hair or other loose particles from the surface of objects such as clothing, textiles, furniture and the like, comprises a substantially cylindrical roller (1) which is rotatably supported on a support , the peripheral surface of this roller being provided with an adhesive layer (6) making it possible to remove dust and other particles by adhesion by bringing the roller (1) into contact with the surface of the object to be cleaned and by rolling on it. The device for removing dust comprises a divided housing, the parts of the housing (7, 11) being movable relative to each other by a relative rotational movement between a position in which the parts of the housing (7 , 11) completely enclose the roller (1) and a position in which the roller (1) is partially exposed to allow rolling contact with the object to be cleaned. The parts of the housing (7, 11) are designed to have a relative rotational movement about an axis which is parallel and preferably coaxial with the axis of rotation of the roller (1). |
