titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing a resin encapsulated wire or foil type coil, and winding material employed in this method |
abstract | A process for producing a wire or foil winding for transformers, chokes, solenoids or the like embedded in a casting compound, in which the metallic winding material intended for the production of the winding is provided in sections or continuously with increases on a part of its surface which are uniform are distributed over the length and consist of a material that is resistant to the non-rigid casting compound. The winding material is then processed into a winding and embedded in the solidifying casting compound. The invention also relates to winding material (wire or foil) in which a coating which is uniformly distributed over its length is applied to part of the surface and which causes continuous or section-wise elevations and consists of a material which is resistant to the non-solidifying casting compound. |
