The fully transplantable artificial artificial organ prosthesis consists of two parts (A, B), the first (A) comprising a tube (10) intended to be connected to an artery of the recipient, micro-tubes (11) in PAN mounted on a silicone sleeve (12) and connected by one of their ends to the interior (14) of a cup (13) itself connected to a catheter (15), the second part (B) being constituted by a envelope (16) of polytetrafluoroethylene extended by a flexible tube (17) intended to be connected to a vein of the recipient. Immediately before implantation, the micro-tubes (11) are filled with living material taken from a healthy organ, these micro-tubes (11) are closed with a cold polymerizing ceramic, then said parts (A, B) are assembled. by engaging the end of the envelope (16) on a sleeve (12) and sticking it by means of a fresh layer of silicone. Then, during implantation, the tubes (10, 17) are connected to the vascular system. From this moment, the micro-tubes (11) float in the blood flow passing through the envelope (16) and the walls of these tubes (11) are crossed exclusively by plasma which contains the substances necessary for the survival of the cells. composing the living material contained in the micro-tubes (11). The secretions from these cells are collected in the well (13), then conveyed by the catheter (15) to the place of the body where they are needed. |
