abstract |
A granulated pesticide with increased active ingredient release from the carrier granules and a process for its production are specified. Each individual particle of the carrier granulate is coated with a powdered insecticide formulation adhering to its surface. The powdered pesticidal approach consists of a pesticide in liquid form and a surface treatment agent which are contained in the pores of a finely ground inert powder, e.g. water-containing silicon dioxide are absorbed. The particles of the powder are much smaller and have a higher absorption capacity than the carrier granulate. |
