abstract Trisubstituted guanidines linked to a piperidine ring. The carboxamidoguanidines corresponding to the general formula (I) in which R1, R2, R3 and R4 are substituents, n is equal to 0 or 1, n 'is equal to 0 or 1, A and B represent CH2, CHOH, CO or a single bond. The compounds of general formula I as well as their addition salts have advantageous hypotensive properties which make them suitable for serving as active principle in pharmaceutical compositions.
