abstract |
The invention relates to a method and a reagent for the selective production of the reduced oxygen species superoxide, hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl radical by reducing the oxygen with NAD (P) H in the presence of a NAD (P) H-dependent, non-autoxidable diaphorase, a suitable autoxidable Redox partners and, if necessary, a suitable buffer system. A method and a reagent for the determination of superoxide dismutase using superoxide produced according to the invention is also claimed. A further subject of the invention is a method and a reagent for determining NAD (P) H and NAD (P) H-delivering reactions, the method according to the invention being used for the production of hydrogen peroxide. |
