Measurement of alpha-amylase activity |
abstract |
Measurement of a-amylase activity is conducted by using a modified amylose having one carboxymethyl group or a salt thereof per 6 to 36 glucose units in amylose as , substrate and using a coupling enzyme of glucoamylase or α-glucosidase to produce glucose and quantitatively determining the glucose produced by a known method. When a special reaction stopper for the coupling enzyme glucoamylase is used, fixed-time assay becomes possible. |
