titleOfInvention | Transfer sheets for the thermal dry-printing of cellulosic fibres |
abstract | Transfer medium for the thermal dry printing of cellulose fibers that are swellable with water, with dyes that are insoluble in water at 60 ° C. The dyes are difficult to evaporate and cannot be transferred using the conventional transfer printing process. They are transferred at about 230 ° C and a contact pressure of 10 4 to 10 6 Pa from the base paper provided with a release layer to the cellulose fibers which have been swollen with water and whose swelling state is preserved with a polyglycol after the water has been removed. To increase the penetration of the dye into the textile structure, it is recommended to lower the air pressure in the transfer area to 1 to 5 x 10 4 Pa. |
