Organopolysiloxanes which contain both SiC-bonded acryloxyalkyl groups and Si-bonded hydrogen in one and the same molecule are characterized in that they have a viscosity of at least 100 mPa.s at 25 ° C. They are preferably made in that is attached to allyl alcohol containing diorganopolysiloxanes each containing a Si-bonded hydrogen atom in the terminal units, the alcoholic hydroxyl groups of the reaction products thus obtained are esterified with acrylic acid and the diorganopolysiloxane thus obtained in the terminal units, each having an SiC-bonded acryloxypropyl group, with organo (poly) -siloxanes, each having an Si-bonded hydroxyl group, consisting of methylhydrosiloxane units and optionally diorganosiloxane units of the formula R₂SiO as well as other organo (poly) siloxanes if necessary.n n n The organopolysiloxanes according to the invention are suitablenexcels at producing high energynRadiation, especially ultraviolet light, can be crosslinkednCoatings e.g. on paper to repel stickynFabrics or on optical fibers. |
