The invention relates to a simplified process for the preparation of polyamines having primary, aromatically bound amino groups by hydrolysis of compounds having terminal aromatic isocyanate groups and having an NCO content of 0.5 to 40% by weight, characterized by a one-step process with high NCO / NH 2 -Conversion in the presence of water-miscible, polar solvents with carboxylic acid dialkylamide, lactam, tetraalkylurea, sulfone, sulfoxide, phosphorodialkylamide, nitrile and ketone groups, with a dielectric constant of at least 10, a boiling point of 56 to 250 ° C. and optionally using compounds which accelerate the isocyanate-water reaction, in particular tertiary amines. Modified isocyanates or NCO prepolymers or semiprepolymers are used as compounds containing isocyanate groups. The invention further relates to such polyamines with an NH 2 content of between 0.19% by weight and 20.3% by weight and the use of these polyamines for the production of polyurethanes. |
