abstract | A training device has two generally H-shaped frames (11, 11), a bar (11f) which can be grasped by the hands of a user, a bar (12a) for blocking the feet of a user, and a padded member (15a) for wedging the thighs of a user. The location of the padded member (15a) is adjustable relative to the structure of the thigh wedging device of the user. A lever (24, 25) is pivotally attached to the base of the apparatus and is connected to the user, so that the movement of the user causes the device to be lifted. The training apparatus allows the user to train the muscle groups which are specially stressed during a speed race, the training of these muscle groups having been neglected until now by the training devices. prior art training. |
