titleOfInvention Method for deagglomerating ceramic particles
abstract A method for deagglomerating or breaking down ceramic particles is provided. A liquid binder mix is added to the ceramic powder in an amount equal to or a little greater than the void volume of the ceramic powders at the desired final density. A force is applied to the deagglomerated ceramic powder. The densification process proceeds until the liquid binder mix occupies the total void volume of the powder which renders the mixture incompressible, thus halting the deagglomeration process.
