Compounds of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or in vivo hydrolysable ester thereof have antibacterial activity:n wherein R is hydrogen, C 1-6 alkylcarbonyl or C 1-6 alkyl; R' is hydrogen or hydrocarbon; R 2 is hydrogen, or optionally substituted hydrocarbon or optionally substituted heterocyclyl or CXR d , where X is 0 or S and R d is hydrogen or optionally substituted hydrocarbon or optionally substituted heterocyclyl; or R' and R 2 together with the nitrogen to which they are attached, form an optionally substituted heterocyclyl group. A process for the preparation of such compounds and compositions comprising them, are also described. |
