CLUTCH AND VALVE UNIT FOR DISPENSING LIQUID. |
abstract |
A coupling and valve assembly allows the use of a connector member (70) to open and close the valve assembly with one hand and helps prevent accidental spillage of the liquid. The coupling valve assembly includes a spout (21) and a sliding valve member (22) in the spout, these two parts being shaped so as to form inner and outer seals between them on each side of the dispenser outlet and a one-way stop (40) which prevents excessive outward movement of the dispenser outlet port while allowing the dispenser outlet port to move inward in an open position. The valve member is moved normally to its open position by pushing a connector member (70) into the valve member; factually, this connector member (70) may have a second valve (84) under the action of a spring, which is opened by a projecting element (22a) on the valve member. |
