This device comprises means emitting light waves (2, 3), optical means (4, 5) directing these waves on the object to be analyzed (1), and optical receiving means (6,7) directing the waves reflected on a sensor (8) associated with an analog-digital converter (9). We thus obtain, in the form of digital signals, a representation of the shape of the object (1) in the three dimensions of space. These signals are analyzed and processed to automatically control a numerically controlled machine tool which will produce an exactly adapted prosthesis. Application: in dentistry, automatic confection of a crown type prosthesis adapting to a tooth stump (1) constituting the object analyzed. |
