A compound of the formula:n wherein R, and R 2 are, each independently a hydrogen atom, a C 1 -C 3 alkyl group optionally substituted with a halogen atom, an alkoxyalkyl or alkylthioalkyl group of the formula: R 7 -Z-(CH 2 ) q -, a C 2 -C 3 alkenyl group, a C 2 -C 4 alkynyl group, a C 1 -C 2 alkoxy group, a C 1 -C 2 alkylthio group, a phenyl group, a pyridyl group, a furyl group or a thienyl group, or R 1 and R 2 when taken together form a saturated or unsaturated 5- or 6-membered ring optionally containing not more than 2 oxygen or sulfur atom(s) within the ring, R 3 and R 4 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R 5 is a methyl group or a halogen atom, R 6 is a C 1 -C 4 alkyl group, a methoxy group, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or a nitro group, R 7 is a methyl group or an ethyl group, X is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a methylene qroud. & and 7 are each an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, is 0 or an integer of 1 to-5; m is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4, n is 0 or an integer of 1 or 2 and q is an integer of 1 or 2, which is useful as an insect controlling agent. |
