titleOfInvention | DEVICE FOR TREATING BACK CONDITIONS. |
abstract | A back condition treatment device includes a support member (10) for supporting the patient; straps (19, 26) encircling the patient's chest and pelvis respectively; tension or traction members (17) connected to the strap (26) of the patient's pelvis or chest; and an easily movable support member (14) for supporting the patient's pelvis or chest. The easily movable support member (14) is designed so that it can execute, simultaneously or independently of a translational movement, a rotary movement in the horizontal plane and / or an oblique or distorting movement around a longitudinal axis of the support member (14), according to a program decided beforehand for the patient. The rotary movement takes place around a vertical axis between the support member (14) and a member (13) serving to support the lower part of the back, preferably located at the second vertebra of the patient, counted from the basin region. The lower back support member is provided with a pressure sensing device (40) and is designed to be controlled vertically depending on the pressure sensed by the pressure sensing device (40). |
