abstract |
Process for the preparation of α-acetoxy-α-methyl-N, N'-diacetylmalonamide in which a compound chosen from hydrocyanic acid and cyanides is reacted in a first step on acetic anhydride and, in a second step, the mixture thus obtained is treated with acetic acid in the presence of an acid catalyst, characterized in that the first step is carried out in the presence of a catalyst based on exchange resins anions whose functional groups are chosen from quaternary ammonium groups and tertiary amine groups.n n n Α-acetoxy-α-methyl-N, N'-diacetylmalonamide is an activator of persalts which finds application in bleaching and scouring compositions which thus become active at lower temperature. |
