titleOfInvention Process for the preparation of catalytically active aluminosilicates, and use thereof
abstract In the production of catalytically active aluminosilicates from glasses by hydrothermal crystallization, the hydrothermal crystallization is carried out in the presence of aqueous solutions of inorganic alkali compounds which have an alkaline reaction. Alkali carbonate, water glass, alkali hydroxide or alkali phosphate can serve as inorganic alkali compounds.n n n The catalytically active aluminosilicates can be used for the dehydration of alcohols, ethers and other oxygen-containing organic compounds to form hydrocarbons, and for the isomerization or alkylation of hydrocarbons.
