abstract N-substituted N-isocyanatocarbonyl-carbamates, some of which are new, of the general formula <IMAGE> (I) are prepared by reacting an N-substituted carbamic acid ester of the general formula R-NH-COOR1 (II) with chlorocarbonyl isocyanate of the formula Cl-CO-NCO (III) in a diluent, at a temperature between 50 DEG and 200 DEG C. The compounds (I) can be used as intermediate products for the preparation of new pest-combating agents.
