titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of a vanadium containing catalyst component for a Ziegler catalyst system |
abstract | The invention lies within the scope of a method for producing a vanadium-containing catalyst component (1) for Ziegler catalyst systems, wherein (1.1) for producing the catalyst component (1.1.1) is a finely divided, porous, inorganic-oxidic substance (I) of a specific specification and (1.1.2) a solution (II), which results from bringing together (IIa) a lower alcohol and (IIb) a vanadium trihalide, in contact with one another to form a dispersion (111), and this to a dry consistency - Formation of a solid phase product (IV) - evaporates. It is characteristic of the process according to the invention that, when the catalyst component (1.2) is prepared, in an additional step (1.2.1) the solid-phase product (IV) and (1.2.2) obtained from step (1.1) is dissolved in an organic solvent brings a hydrocarbon group-bearing aluminum compound (V) into contact with one another to form a dispersion (VI), and thus with the resulting solid-phase product (VII), the new vanadium-containing catalyst component (1) is obtained. This is characterized among other things in that it is able to deliver polymers with particularly good morphological properties. |
