abstract | Process for the preparation of β, y-unsaturated carboxylic esters by carbonylation of conjugated dienes with carbon monoxide, in the presence of an alcohol, a halogenated hydracid and a palladium catalyst, followed by an operation distillation in the presence of a fusible quarterly onium chloride or bromide under carbonylation conditions with recovery of a gas phase containing the β, γ-unsaturated carboxylic esters and a homogeneous liquid phase containing the quaternary onium chloride or bromide, the palladium catalyst and non-volatile heavy products and recycling into the carbonylation medium of a liquid mixture containing the quaternary onium chloride or bromide and the palladium catalyst after having optionally eliminated heavy products.n n n Said method has the advantage of being able to be carried out continuously or discontinuously. |
