titleOfInvention | Lung ventilation examination apparatus using radioactive aerosols |
abstract | Apparatus for carrying out a pulmonary ventilation examination using radioactive aerosols. The device comprises a shielded box containing: - a nebulizer (11) of radioactive liquid connected to an external source of pressurized air and to a line for supplying the aerosol to an inspiration nozzle (13), - aerosol sedimentation zones (1, 2) upstream of the nozzle (13), - a pipe for evacuating the exhaled air, - a device (3) for receiving the exhaled air interposed in downstream of the nozzle (13), - a pump (14) for purging the receiving device (3) and for the evacuation of residues from the sedimentation zones (1, 2) of the aerosol, - a series of valves (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 10 ') allowing sequential selective access to each of the parts of the device (1, 2, 3) during the various operating phases. |
