the invention relates to a process for the preparation of high molecular weight organopolysiloxanes by polymerization and rearrangement of low molecular weight organopolysiloxanes using cationic catalyst.n n n The invention is characterized in that the catalyst consists of a porous mineral support having an average pore diameter greater than 20 angstroms, a pore volume of between 0.2 and 2 ml / g, the support being coated with a quantity less than 15 mg / m 2 , of a polymeric material carrying a sulphonic or phosphonic group.n n n The process makes it possible to obtain organopolysiloxanes of high molecular mass with very high productivity. |
