abstract | The product contains, in addition to water, a saponin or a compound comprising saponins or a saponin in an active form. The latter compound may be an intermediary product for the preparation of commercially available saponin extracts. The preparation having the following composition is particularly efficient: 6 to 20 % by weight of a saponin-based product with a saponin content of 20-30 % by weight of pure saponin, 40 to 50 % by weight of molasses, 1 to 6 % by weight of a water-soluble colloid, 0.7 to 6 % by weight of a preserving agent, the balance being water. The product is used in aqueous dilution from 2 to 5 ppm. |
