titleOfInvention | Process for the purification of crude organic pigments |
abstract | Process for the purification of raw organic pigments, in which the pigment is suspended in a mixture of two organic liquids which are not completely or immiscible with one another, the suspension is mixed at 50 to 180 ° C. until equilibrium has been reached after the separation the phase containing the impurities (first liquid) is separated and the purified crude pigment is isolated from the other phase (second liquid).n n n Finely divided raw pigments can be converted into pigment forms in the second liquid immediately after cleaning.n n n The process gives raw pigments with a high purity which, after being converted into pigment forms, give bright, brilliant colors. |
