titleOfInvention DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUSLY MEASURING BLOOD PRESSURE WITHOUT PENETRATION.
abstract A continuous measuring device, without penetration of blood pressure, reproduces the waveform of arterial blood pressure, and includes a flexible inflatable finger cuff (2) which includes an infrared transmitter and receiver, a circuit electronics (20) connected to the transmitter and receiver and controlling a dynamic compressor (18). The dynamic compressor (18) comprises a bellows (10) which is compressed by a linear motor (8), electrically activated by the electronic circuit (20). The bellows (10) is connected to the inflatable cuff (2) by a flexible tube (14) to which is attached an electronic pressure transducer (15) in such a way that the hollow spaces of the bellows (10), of the tube (14) , the electronic pressure transducer (15), and the sleeve (2), form a space filled with completely closed air. When the inflatable cuff (2) is adjusted around the finger (1) and the electronic circuits (20) are correctly adjusted, the signal from the electronic pressure transducer (15) corresponds very closely to the value of the blood pressure.
