Diazaspirodecane of general formulas are converted to alcohols with epoxides or aldehydes, and these are reacted with bifunctional compounds to give oligomers or polymers which can be used as light stabilizers for synthetic polymers. The alcohols can also be obtained by converting epoxy compounds substituted by the above diazaspirodecanes into the formic acid esters and saponifying them. |
