titleOfInvention Polyarylene sulphide compositions
abstract Composition consisting of an intimate mixture of polyarylene sulfide with an aryl ester of an aryl alcohol, the ester being in the liquid phase and the resin being a pulverulent mixture, in suspension, in solution or in the form of a paste. The preferred mixture comprises a polyphenylene sulfide and benzyl benzoate. The process for polymerizing polyphenylene sulfide is to dissolve the polyphenylene sulfide in benzyl benzoate and heat the solution so that the benzyl benzoate evaporates and the polyphenylene sulfide polymerizes simultaneously.
