Hardenable adhesive |
abstract |
The invention relates to a curable adhesive based on a reactive acrylate and / or methacrylate copolymer. The reaction principle on which the adhesive is cured is the reaction of the hydroxyl groups of the ω-hydroxyalkyl and / or methacrylic acid with the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanates or their partial reaction products with polyols. The adhesives according to the invention can be used without solvents or with only low levels of organic solvents. They adhere well to plastic or metal surfaces even when exposed to water or steam. The best values for the drum peel strength are contained in a molecular weight range of the acrylic copolymer from 1000 to 3000. |
