titleOfInvention APPARATUS FOR DIVIDING A MASS INTO SUCCESSIVE PORTIONS, ESPECIALLY SAUSAGE FLESH.
abstract The apparatus for dividing a mass, in particular sausage meat, into successive portions, comprises a mass advancement conveyor (7, 96) to be operated in the rhythm of the dosing process, followed by a separation (1) actuated by a motor, whose control member (6) is controlled by means of a measuring device (28, 29, 30) which also actuates the control member (9) of the conveyor progress (7, 96). In order to obtain a correct forced control and coordination of the movements of the separating member (1) and the conveyor (7, 96), as well as an essentially complete use, at all times, of the installed power, the members (6, 9) of the separation member (1) and of the conveyor (7, 96) are actuated by means of one and the same fluid and connected in series, and/or to the control member ( 6) from the separation member is permanently applied the entire current of the fluid supplied by a source of filling pressure (10).
