abstract Timing device for a lighting circuit intended to be mounted on and behind a conventional switch cover wall plate (1) and comprising an adjustment arm (15) of the two-position timing device, a button ( 12) a dial for adjusting the time that can be turned and pressed and an indicator (17) on the front of the cover plate. When the arm (15) is moved into a position for engaging the timer, the indicator (17) flashes to indicate that the timer must be programmed. This can be carried out in real time for the first twenty-four hours after a period of operation of thirty minutes by pressing the button (12) acting as a push button to control the switch for switching on and off current for switch the lighting circuit (11) on and off as usual.
