abstract Nucleating agents have been discovered which enable nmoulded articles to be prepared with smooth glossy surfaces nfrom blends of polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene nterephthalate in the "wet state", i.e., without the resin having nbeen subjected to a pre-drying stage. n The present invention is directed to polyalkylene tereph­nthalate resin compositions. Specifically, it is directed to nundried blends of polyethylene terephthalate and polybuty­nlene terephthalate resins with nucleating agents which nenable these resin blends to be moulded into articles with nsmooth glossy surfaces. In a preferred embodiment, fillers nand/or reinforcing agents are added without subjecting the nresin to a pre-drying treatment which has been heretofore nnecessary in the prior art.
