titleOfInvention Device for the provision of breathing gas
abstract The invention relates to a method for providing breathing gas for occupants of pressure-controlled cabins in aircraft. The breathing gas is generated by adsorptive enrichment of oxygen in air with at least two adsorbers in pressure swing mode. An emergency supply of oxygen-rich breathing gas is provided by the same adsorbers that also generate the permanent breathing gas. At the same time, oxygen-enriched air for the breathing gas and for the emergency supply can be removed from the adsorbers.
