Bevorzugt hergestellt werden Ter- oder Quaterpolymere, enthaltend neben Tetrafluorethylen und Ethylen als Dritt- und/oder Viert-Comonomere vorzugsweise Hexafluorpropylen und/oder ein «sperriges» Vinylmonomeres. Die so hergestellten Copolymeren-Dispersionen weisen sehr geringe Koagulatanteile auf, sind sehr stabil, und die Copolymeren besitzen verarbeitungsgerechte Schmelzindices. Sie können zu Überzügen und Formkörpern verarbeitet werden.
