This prosthesis is of the type produced in a single piece in a flexible and elastic material and comprising, between two proximal (2) and distal (3) extensions intended to be inserted into the proximal (4) and distal (5) bones of the joint concerned, a central part having a thinned zone (6) in one direction and enlarged in the other to carry out the movements of the joint. The central part has, on each side of the thinned zone (6), a rounded bulge (9 and 11) exceeding the transverse dimensions of the corresponding extension (2 and 3), and encompassing at least the entire width of the thinned articular zone ( 6). |
