abstract |
The cost of photographic technology using silver halide has increased dramatically with increases in the cost of silver. It would therefore be desirable to eliminate silver from these photographic materials. Many silver replacement systems tend to be complex without providing sensitometric results equivalent to those of systems using silver halide. A new photographic system includes a binder containing a nitrate and a leuco dye or dye discolourable, which system has proven to be an efficient thermographic system. |
