abstract | There is a process for the preparation of 1,3-benzodithiol derivatives of the formula in which Y nitro, trifluoromethyl, cyano or alkylsulfonyl, X alkyl, alkenyl, nitro, trichloromethyl, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, trifluoromethylthio, trifluoromethylsulfinyl, trifluonomethylsulfonyl, methoxymethyl, cyano, carboxy, carbamoyl, amino, amino, amino, amino, amino, amino, amino, amino, amino N-dialkylamino, N-phenylamino, N-alkenylamino, N, N-dialkenylamino, n is 0, 1, 2 or 3 and W is oxygen or sulfur. According to this process, a 2-nitrophenyl-N, N-dialkyldithiocarbamate of the formula in which X, Y and n have the meaning given under formula 1 and R, and R 2 each represent an alkyl group, in the presence of a strong acid and an inert solvent, first in an iminium salt of the formula in which R 1 , R 2 , X, Y and n have the meaning given above and Z for the anion of a strong acid stands, transferred and then a compound of the formula in which W represents oxygen or sulfur, to a 1,3-benzodithiol derivative of the above formula.n n n Furthermore, new 1,3-benzodithiol-2-N, N-dialkyliminium salts and their preparation are described.n n n The 1,3-benzodithiol derivatives that can be produced by the new process can be used as pesticides. |
