The invention relates to a method for gluing wallpapers (4) on wall covering panels or films (1) made of a foamed organic polymer, in particular of polystyrene. An adhesive (2), for example a polysaccharide derivative, is used which contains a flame-retardant agent (3), preferably one which is flowable, in small parts and water-soluble or water-dispersible. In addition, the invention relates to a sheet-like composite for wall covering based on a plate or film (1) made of the foamed organic polymer with a glued-on wallpaper (4). The adhesive layer (2) arranged between the plate or film (1) and the wallpaper (4) then contains a flame retardant (3). |
