titleOfInvention | Azo dyestuffs and dyestuff mixtures and their use in dyeing polyesters |
abstract | The invention relates to azo dyes of the general formula <IMAGE> in which X is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, R optionally substituted phenyl, alkyl or aralkyl, R¹ and R² independently of one another optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, R¹ and R² together with the nitrogen a saturated heterocyclic 5- to 7-ring and one of the radicals R¹ and R² also mean hydrogen and mixtures of these dyes with dyes of the general formula <IMAGE> in which X is chlorine, bromine or hydrogen, R³ is methyl, ethyl or phenyl , R <4> hydrogen, ethyl, propyl or preferably methyl, R <5> C1- to C6-alkyl, which by chlorine, bromine, hydroxy, cyano, C1- to C8-alkoxy, phenoxy, C1- to C4-alkanoylamino , C1- to C4-alkanoyloxy, C1- to C4-alkoxycarbonyloxy, benzoyloxy, C1- to C4-alkoxycarbonyl or phenyl may be substituted or mean allyl, methallyl, crotonyl, 3-methyl-but-2-en-yl or propargyl and R <6> for hydrogen or one of the fu r R <5> radicals. The dyes and dye mixtures are very suitable for dyeing polyesters. |
