abstract | Method and presensitized color proof sheet for obtaining an image on a substrate. The color proof sheet comprises a light sensitive color layer (16) of a diazo oxide and a pigmented resin compound, a light sensitive binder layer (14) of a mixture or a reaction product of a resin and a diazo oxide, and a barrier layer resistant to non-light sensitive solvents (12). The light-sensitive binder layer (14) free of coloring pigment is disposed between the color layer (16) and the barrier layer (12) so as to prevent background discoloration of the image formed on the substrate in the color layer. |
