The invention relates to radiation-curable, emulsifier-free, aqueous binder dispersions, a process for their preparation and their use. These binder dispersions consist of water, a polymerizable binder dispersed therein, which is a thioether adduct of a polymerizable oligomer or polymer, which has an average molecular weight of at least 350, a carboxyl group content of 0.2 to 15% and a content of 0.01 to 0. Has 8 moles of polymerizable CC double bonds per 100 g of oligomer or polymer, and optionally contains a photoinitiator. The radiation-curable aqueous coating agent dispersions according to the invention are suitable as coating agents for non-metallic and metallic substrates. |
