abstract The invention relates to methods and means for determining a component from a group consisting of specific binding receptors and substances which can be specifically bound by these receptors, by measuring the activity of enzymes bound by incubation, which are characterized in that one of the After immobilization on a water-insoluble carrier, components are incubated with the other component, then after customary washing with saccharide-binding enzymes and the enzyme activity is determined. Enzymes binding to saccharide can be used with lectin properties or lectins with enzymatic activity.
