abstract Fluorescent lamps containing a two-component phosphorescent substance (13) consisting essentially of barium magnesium aluminate activated by europium as the blue emitter and calcium chlorofluorapatite activated by manganese and antimony as the yellow emitter uses less energy to produce a brightness at least comparable to that of the standard cold lamp with an appropriate index of color rendering.
