abstract |
Inclusion in the reaction mass of certain difunctional monomers (including divinylbenzene) in controlled, miniscule proportions for polymerization of styrene and other monoethylenically-unsaturated, addition-polymerizable monomers provides either significantly increased rates of polymerization production of polymer product obtained at given molecular weight values or noticeably increased molecular weight values at fixed polymerization rates, or both to more or less desired individual-effect extents. |
